IPL 2020 Final
The final match of IPL 2020 cricket season will be played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on 24th May 2020. The IPL 2020 final participant will be decided after playing all the league stage matches, qualifier and the eliminator rounds.
The IPL 2020 final match is expected to play in Mumbai. There were totally 12 IPL finals had happened in the past seasons of Indian Premier League. From the 12 IPL final T20 cricket match, MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings IPL team had qualified 8 times for the IPL final T20 match. CSK were qualified for final in IPL 2008, IPL 2010, IPL 2011, IPL 2012, IPL 2013, IPL 2015, IPL 2018 and IPL 2019. In which, Chennai IPL team had won the IPL titles 3 times in IPL 2010, 2011 and in 2018. Mumbai’s Wankhede stadium and DY Patil Sports Stadium had hosted the maximum number of IPL final events in the past.

IPL 2019 Final
Last years IPL 2019 final has happened in Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians IPL teams, in which Mumbai had won the IPL final by the margin of just 1 run in a nail-biting cricket T20 match. CSK, Mumbai, Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad teams were qualified for the IPL2019 qualifier rounds in IPL 2019 after their IPL points from the league stage.
IPL 2018
IPL 2018 final cricket T20 match was happening in Wankhede Stadium between the IPL final qualifiers CSK and SRH on May 27th, 2018. Chennai Super Kings had won the toss and elected to field first. Sunrisers Hyderabad team have scored 178 runs for the loss of 6 wickets from the limited 20 overs. The Chennai IPL team have chased these runs with the loss of two wickets from 18.3 overs only. Chennai Super King’s all-rounder Shane Watson was selected as the “Man Of The Match” of IPL 2018 final.
IPL 2017 Final
Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Supergiant were the IPL 2017 participants, MI team beat RPS T20 cricket team by 1 run in the IPL 2017 final. The IPL 2017 final had happened in Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. Initially, Mumbai Indians had won the toss and elected to bat first. From the allowed twenty overs Mumbai team had scored 129 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. In the 2nd innings, RPS team had scored only 128 runs for the loss of 5 wickets from the given 20 overs. Mumbai Indian’s Hardik Pandya’ was given the IPL Final’s “Player of the Match” award.
IPL 2016 Final – SRH Vs RCB
Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad were qualified for the IPL 2016 season of final t20 cricket match. The IPL 2016 final had happened in Bangalore’s Chinnaswamy Stadium on May 29th, 2019. The Sunrisers IPL team had won the toss and elected to bat first against the Bangalore team. In the first innings, SRH team had scored 208 runs for the loss of 7 wickets from 20 overs. While chasing the 208 runs, RCB team had scored only 200 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Finally, the SRH team won the IPOL 2016 by 8 runs, SRH’s Ben Cutting awarded as the player of the match.
Mumbai Indians Vs Chennai Super Kings – IPL 2015 Final
In the IPL 2015 final, Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings were played in Eden Gardens, Kolkata on 24th May 2015. After winning the toss, the CSK team had asked Mumbai Indians to bat first. Mumbai Indians have scored totally 202 runs for the loss of 5 wickets from the given twenty overs. Chennai Super Kings were able to score only 161 runs for the loss of 8 wickets from the limited 20 overs. Finally, The MI team had won the IPL final 2015 by the margin for 41 runs. Mumbai’s Rohit Sharma was selected as “Man of the match”.
IPL 2014 Final Match
The 7th edition of Indian Premier League final had happened in M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. Kings XI Punjab and Kolkata Knight Riders were qualified for the IPL 2014 final event on 1st June 2016. KXIP IPL team had batted first, and they have scored 199 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. Kolkata Knight Riders team had chased this score for the lose of 7 wickets from 20 overs. Manish Pandey of KKR team was given the “Man of the Match” award.
IPL 2013 – MI Vs CSK
This IPL 2013 finale was one more final cricket T20 match between the IPL toppers Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. The final match had happened on May 26th, 2019 on Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Mumbai Indians’ Pollard was given the “Player of the Match” award for his excellent contribution on runs and wickets. Mumbai Indians had batted first and scored 148 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. While chasing the 148 runs, CSK had scored only 125 runs from the given 20 overs for the loss of nine wickets. So, Mumbai became the IPL champion first time.
IPL 2012 – CSK Vs KKR
Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders were qualified for the final match of IPL 2012. The match happened in MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on May 27th, 2012. The Kolkata Knight Riders team became the first time IPL champion by beating the Chennai Super Kings team by the margin of 5 wickets. CSK had batted first and scored totally 190 runs for the loss of 3 wickets from 20 overs earlier. KKR’s Bisla was given the Man of the Match award.
CSK Vs RCB – IPL 2011 Final
In the 4th edition of IPL final, Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore team were qualified for the IPL 2011 final match. Chennai Super Kings had won the toss and elected to bat first against RCB in the final. CSK had scored 205 runs totally for the lose of 5 wickets from 20 overs. While chasing this big score, RCB were able to make only 147 runs for the loss of 8 wickets from 20 overs. M Vijay from CSK team was awarded as the “Player of the match” for his excellent century.
IPL 2010
For the 3rd IPL final, Chennai and Mumbai team had qualified after the league and qualifier stage. And the Chennai Super Kings team got their first IPL trophy by beating the Mumbai Indians with a margin of 22 runs. Earlier, CSK had batted first and scored 168 runs with a loss of 5 wickets in their first innings. Mumbai team failed to chase their first innings score, they were able to score only 146 runs for the loss of 9 wickets from 20 overs. Chennai Super Kings Suresh Raina was awarded as the “Player of the match” for his excellent runs contribution.
IPL 2009 – Deccan Chargers Vs Royal Challengers Bangalore
DC and RCB were qualified for the 2nd season of IPL final. The 2nd IPL final match had happened on May 24th, 2019 in Johannesburg, South Africa. In the league stage, DC came on top of the points table with 20 points by winning 10 IPL league matches. In the final match, Deccan IPL team had batted first and scored 143 runs from 20 over after losing 6 wickets. RCB team failed to chase the 143 first innings target, there were able to make only 137 runs. Finally, Deccan Chargers beat Royal Challengers by the margin of 5 runs.
IPL 2008 Final
For the very first version of IPL final, Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals team were qualified. The top 4 teams who qualified for the play-offs and qualifiers are Rajasthan Royals, Kings XI Punjab, Chennai Super Kings and Deccan Chargers. In the final IPL match, CSK had batted first and they have scored totally 164 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their first innings. Later, Rajasthan IPL team had chased their first innings score after losing 7 wickets.
