Glenn Maxwell IPL Salary
Even before his International debut, Maxwell got his IPL contract and represented Delhi Daredevils in 2012. His salary was 10.54 Lakhs, The very next year he got into an auction and Mumbai Indians picked him for 5.327 Crores. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to last there either, In 2014 Maxwell moved to Punjab Kings for 6 Crores. Maxwell started his fireworks once he joined Punjab Kings he had an extraordinary tournament. Which ensured his spot was permanent for the next 4 years.
But Delhi Daredevils managed to get their former player back to the team for 9 Crores in 2018 IPL auction. There he survived for only a year and he returned back to Punjab Kings in 2022 for a huge amount of 10.75 Crores. His average performance over the years cost him uncertainty in sticking to a particular team. Maxwell’s career got an upgrade after RCB trusted his skillset and bought him for 14.25 Crores in the 2021 IPL auction.
