Wanindu Hasaranga is a talented leg-break bowler and a useful middle-order batter. Wanindu created headlines in his first ODI match in which he took a hat-trick making him only the third debutant and first leg-spinner. Royal Challengers Bangalore called Wanindu Hasaranga as a replacement for Adam Zampa in the 2021 IPL season.
However, Hasaranga did not get many opportunities to showcase his talent in the 2021 IPL season.
