PCAS Seating Chart And Pavilion
The ends of this unique stadium are referred to as Pavilion end and city end. The floodlights fitted in this stadium are unlike from other cricket stadiums. They have installed just 16 floodlights all over the stadium and height of the pillar also will be smaller when compared with others. The reason behind this alternate choice is to avoid aircraft collision with the floodlight pillars that crosses nearby Chandigarh airport.
Choosing the North Pavilion stand gives you the coolest view of the match. At the City end, we can find an excellent view of the match just behind the bowler’s arm. Speaking about stands, most of them are in uncovered low height and dugout breaks up the spectators from the ground. However, the Pavilion stand gives the field the new era feel with world-class amenities. In Earlier days, the pitch is known for the bowler-friendly ground with all its greenish lush of grass. Mohali stadium supported fast bowlers and spinners with its environment to grab more wickets. After crossing many matches the ground has become batting paradise for players.
