England won their last match by 51 runs against Sri Lanka in the Super 8 stage. They scored 146 for nine wickets and bowled Sri Lanka out for 95 runs in 16.4 overs. It was a solid performance with both bat and ball, giving them good momentum before facing Pakistan.
