Kuldeep Yadav has been in the IPL setup since 2012 where he was first picked by Mumbai Indians. However, he failed to get a chance in playing XI and he was transferred to Kolkata Knight Riders in 2014. He made his breakthrough in 2016, taking six wickets in three games for the Kolkata Knight Riders. He saw a lot of ups and downs in his IPL journey. This was so far his worst IPL season. Kuldeep Yadav was benched for the first half of the 2021 IPL and missed the second half with a knee injury.
The chinaman made an outstanding comeback in IPL playing for Delhi Capitals in 2022. He picked up 21 wickets in 14 matches. Kuldeep Yadav proved his talent and skills to his fans. Delhi Capitals retained him in 2023 where he played every match of the IPL.
