The second season of “Player of the tournament” was given to Adam Gilchrist of Deccan Chargers IPL team in 2009. The IPL 2009 has played with eight IPL teams. Gilchrist has totally scored 495 runs and he was the reason for 18 dismissals for his team in 2009 Indian Premier League.
