Zimbabwe, batting first, posted a total of 153, in response to which South Africa chased down the total in 17.5 overs and won the game. South Africa will definitely want to continue its excellent performance against New Zealand in Semi-Final 1.

South Africa put up a strong performance against Zimbabwe. Although both South African openers were dismissed early, they returned to the pavilion. But all the batsmen who came in after that did a great job of stabilising the team. Dewald Brevis scored 42 off 18 balls.

Moreover, Glenn Phillips also batted well and scored 39 runs. However, the lower middle order did not perform well, due to which New Zealand could only score 159 runs.

In the bowling department, New Zealand performed well in the previous game against England. But, New Zealand lost the previous match due to mistakes in the last three overs. However, Rachin Ravindra took three wickets for 19 runs in his four overs. Meanwhile, Matt Henry, Lockie Ferguson and Glenn Phillips took one wicket each.
