Sikandar Raza is the talented Allrounder from Zimbabwe. He was the Player of the Tournament in the ODI World Cup Qualifiers in 2019 and the T20I World Cup in 2022. He is one of the most underrated all-rounders in T20 cricket and has a vast experience of playing in global leagues. Sikandar Raza became the first player from Zimbabwe to be picked up in IPL. He played seven matches for Punjab Kings, scoring 139 runs at an average of 27.80 and a strike rate of 141.84. Raza also took three wickets with the best bowling figure of 1/19, an average of 39.67, and a strike rate of 24.00.
Sikandar Raza after going unsold in the 2022 auction was picked by Punjab Kings in the next year and for his base price of INR 50 lakhs. After an impressive debut season, Sikandar Raza was retained for an IPL salary of INR 50 lakhs for the 2024 edition of Indian Premier League.
