WPL 2026 Mumbai Indians: Retained Players, New Signings, Full Squad & Schedule

Mumbai Indians (MI), the most successful team in WPL history, will play the 2026 season after keeping five players for ₹9.25 crore. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur continues to lead the side along with overseas stars Nat Sciver-Brunt and Hayley Matthews. Young players Amanjot Kaur and 17-year-old wicketkeeper Kamalini G were also retained. MI ended second in the league stage last season and later defeated Gujarat Giants in the Eliminator and Delhi Capitals in the final to win the WPL 2025 title.

MI entered the WPL 2026 mega auction with a purse of ₹5.75 crore. Their top retention was Nat Sciver-Brunt, followed by Harmanpreet Kaur, while Matthews, Amanjot and Kamalini completed the core group. With no RTM card, MI focused on smart planning to build another strong squad.

At the auction, MI brought back Amelia Kerr for ₹3 crore after her outstanding season where she won the Purple Cap. They also re-signed former players like S Sajana, Shabnim Ismail, Sanskriti Gupta and Saika Ishaque. The defending champions used their full budget of ₹15 crore and finished with 16 players for the 2026 season.
