England Preview

England faced an unexpected challenge in their very first match from Nepal, where, despite setting a huge target of 184 runs, Nepal lost the match in the last ball. England managed to win the last match by four wickets. But after a tough fight against Nepal in the last match, at one point, England’s chances of victory seemed quite slim.

England’s top order batsmen failed to do anything special in batting in the last game as Phil Salt was dismissed early and returned to the pavilion. After this, Jacob Bethell took charge of the team and played a brilliant innings of 55 runs in 35 balls. Apart from him, in the middle order, captain Harry Brook also scored 53 runs in 32 balls. Moreover, Will Jacks played an innings of 39 runs in 18 balls and helped the team reach a big total of 184 runs.

England failed to make a good impact in bowling in the last match. Despite posting a good total, they failed to put pressure on Nepal.
