Lockie Ferguson IPL Salary
Rising Pune Supergiants bought Lockie Ferguson for his base price in the 2017 IPL auction. After the exit of RPS, Lockie Ferguson was left unsold for a year. He was drafted into the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) squad in 2019, where he played only five matches. Later he was retained for the next year and again he played only 5 matches in the 2020 season. Ferguson had an exceptional tournament in the 2021 IPL for Kolkata. However, KKR had to release the speedster ahead of the 2022 mega auction due to retaining only 3 players for a team.
Lockie Ferguson hit the jackpot in the 2022 mega auction when Gujarat Titans secured the speedster for 10 Crores. The addition of Ferguson led GT straight to win their maiden IPL title. He was consistent with his length and picked wickets throughout the tournament. However, GT traded Ferguson to KKR for the 2023 IPL. Later Kolkata released Ferguson in the following year for the reason of releasing the funds. In the 2024 auction, RCB signed the speedster for his base price of 2 Crores.
