IPL 2009- Third Position
In the leadership of fierce Gautam Gambhir, the Delhi Daredevils performed exceptionally well in the 2009 season. This Time DC surpassed their previous play record and won 10 matches in total. This led them to the finals. Ab de Villiers played a massive game by scoring two centuries in this tournament. Despite having top scores throughout the tournament the team lost its balance and got defeated by Deccan Chargers. The team finished in third position which was anyway better than their previous performance.
IPL 2010- Fifth Position

IPL 2011- Tenth Position
